Why Is My Talking Head Video Glitchy or Experiencing Errors?

If you're experiencing glitches, sudden cuts, lighting changes, or hand/mic issues when generating Talking Head videos in Cinema Mode, this is typically related to video length limitations of the AI model.

Understanding the Issue

The AI models used for Talking Head generation work best with shorter video segments. When you try to generate longer videos (such as 53 seconds or more), the AI struggles to maintain consistency throughout the entire duration, resulting in:

  • Visual glitches and artifacts
  • Sudden cuts or transitions
  • Lighting inconsistencies
  • Hand or microphone positioning issues
  • Generation errors

Recommended Solution

Generate your videos in shorter increments of approximately 15 seconds.

Instead of creating one long 53-second video, break your content into multiple 15-second segments. This approach allows the AI to:

  • Maintain better visual consistency
  • Reduce glitches and errors
  • Produce higher quality results
  • Process more reliably

How to Work with Shorter Segments

  1. Break your script or content into 15-second chunks
  2. Generate each segment separately in Cinema Mode
  3. Use the Studio Editor to stitch the segments together into your final video

This workflow gives you more control over the final result and significantly reduces the likelihood of generation errors.

Why This Limitation Exists

This is a current limitation of the underlying AI models used for video generation. The technology works most reliably with shorter video durations, and longer generations require exponentially more computational resources while maintaining consistency becomes increasingly difficult.

We're always working to improve our AI capabilities, but for now, working in shorter increments is the best way to achieve high-quality, glitch-free Talking Head videos.
